iPhone Wont Connect to Wifi – Solved!

When it comes to iPhone, everyone is so worried about so many things regarding the transfer of files, iCloud, network connection etc… The people who never operated iPhone, for them it is always a big challenge to set up the network connection for their device. Here are some of the steps which you can follow up to connect your iPhone to wi-fi :

To connect to a Wi-fi Network :

1. On Homescreen, tap on “Settings” icon.

2. In settings you’ll get “Wifi” option, click on it.

3. There will be a slider, you can turn it on by sliding the slider. Once you turn it on, your device will start looking for all the available networks. In few seconds, all the available networks will be listed there and an option will be there “Choose a network”.

4.  The Private networks have a lock icon next to them but the public ones don’t have it. Signal strength you can see next to the name of the network, the more the bars, stronger is the network.

5.  Just tap on any public network name and you will join it but to connect to private ones, you need password. If you have the password then enter it and click on Join, you will join the network and if the password is wrong by any chance it will show you an error, you’ll not be able to connect to that particular network.

To Connect to a Hidden network which is in range :

  1. Go to “Settings”, and then select “Wi-fi” option.
  2. The available network list will appear, you need to select option “Other”.
  3. Now enter the name of the network you want to connect with.
  4. Now tap the “Security” to chose the security type. You will get a number of options here.
  5. You need to select WPA2. Sometimes all the hidden networks are not secure. So in that case you should contact with system administrator.
  6. After selecting security type go to the back screen by tapping on “<Back” button.
  7. Now you can type the network password.
  8. The last step is very much simpler as compared to the above steps, you just need to tap on “Join”. Once you are connected to a “Wifi” network, a wifi logo will appear on top of your home screen.

To Connect to a Password Protected Network :

  1. Go to “Settings”, and then select “Wi-fi” option.
  2. Turn on the “Wifi” and it will automatically starts searching the available networks.
  3. Tap on any of the available wifi network, the password protected network will have a lock in front of their name.
  4. When you will click on a password protected network, it will ask for password.
  5. Enter the password for that wifi network and tap “Join”.

The procedure is easy, you just need to follow the above steps and your device will definitely get connected to the available Wi-fi whichever you connected to.
